Sunday June 23
We are leaving Palmer which is down the street from Sarah Palin's home. Must say, they are very proud of her accomplishments while in the Governor's Seat.
When we arrived at Sterling we parked the RV's at Bing Brown's RV Park and headed for Dot's Kenai Fish Camp where Arve' would pick us up in his boat and ferry us to their cabin on Dow Island.

Let's talk mosquitoes! Mosquitoes are the resident hosts.
Make no mistake, they are always here to greet one and all. During the filming of "Making the Alaskan Highway" mosquitoes were so bad workers had to stay fully clothed with mosquito nets that covered the head completely just like a bee keeper. Since Alaska is known for its mosquitoes, I can't understand why retail stores seems to run out of repellent products. No matter how much repellent you spray, rub and wear, those critters seem to find their way to your body. We are using bug zappers inside the RV's but their mission seems to hit their target, US. Our new fragrance is called Citronella de Flower.
I didn't find gold yet but I did find $15.00 on the floor while using the toilet - I know, TMI (too much information). OK, I quit.
